Zondagmiddag 4 september tussen 15.00 en 17.00 uur stond Radio Extra Gold in het teken van de opening van het 192 Museum in Nijkerk. Een expositie die geheel gewijd is aan de zeezenders.

Jaap Jansen sprak met ‘de vader der deejays’ Willem van Kooten, de populairste disc-jockey uit de jaren ’70 Lex Harding, de eerste vrouwelijke dj Tineke de Nooij (al 56 jaar op de radio), de benjamin van Veronica Bart van Leeuwen en de technici Juul Geleick en Ad Bouman.

Ook kwamen Ferry Maat (Radio Noordzee Internationaal), George Baker, Piet Veerman en de conservator van het museum Jaap Schut aan het woord.

Het 192 Museum, Oude Barneveldseweg 65 in Nijkerk, is elke vrijdag en zaterdag geopend van 11.00 tot 17.00 uur.
